This is the time of the year when the garden team of Gaia's Garden harvest avocados after avocados. Some of them are big like a papaya!
GG lore has it that our avocado tree grew from a cutting taken from an avocado tree originally planted by the Mother decades ago. No wonder!
Our guests have been enjoying tastings of our fresh avocados at breakfast. Since the harvest is bountiful, we are sending them to Pour Tours - Auroville's community store in Aspiration for more people to enjoy.

Our garden team work tirelessly to nurture such beauty and plentitude. They are indeed the experts, knowing what to prune, what to harvest and what to go back to nature. When we have surplus harvest from the garden we gladly share it with our guests so that they may sample nature's gifts. These are put in the kitchen or at breakfast table depending on the season. Please feel free to enjoy some if you find them in the kitchen.
